 MakeTXT converts any file to the world standard plain text (ASCII) format. A file in ASCII format can be loaded into any word processor, and therefore MakeTXT has the ability to convert any file into a format which can be loaded into your word processor (or DOS EDIT, or Notepad). Other uses include fixing text file formats imported from other operating systems (e.g. UNIX) or stripping out readable text from binary files. There is also a Windows version of this program.
